Remembrance Sunday diversions

Some buses will divert on Sunday 12 November as a result of Remembrance events, and buses will pull over where safe to do so, to observe the 2-minute silence at 11am.

Services 21, 23, 24 & 25
Traffic around Whitchurch Library may be held for a short while at about 10:45 whilst the walking parade passes from the British Legion Club to Whitchurch Library.

Service 30
Newport Road will be closed at Old St. Mellons from 12:00 – 12:15. During this time, service 30 will divert via Llaneirwg Way, Greenway Road & New Road in both directions, and will not serve Newport Road between its junctions with Llaneirwg Way and New Road.

Also, due to road closures in Newport city centre for the parade, service 30 will start/end from Newport Friars Walk bus station stand 13 (NOT Market Square bus station) from first bus until 13:00

Service 45
Wentloog Road will be closed from 10:45 – 11:45. During this time service 45 will divert along New Road and Greenway Road in both directions, and will not serve Rumney Hill, Wentloog Road, Cae Glas Road, Nevin Crescent & Rhyl Road.

Service 63
Buses will start and end at Danescourt Way and will not be able to serve Radyr, Pentyrch and Creigiau until 13:00.  The 14:40 journey from the city centre maybe held for a short while near Pentyrch memorial at approx 15:20.

Services 92 & 94

Please be aware that there maybe delays to services 92 & 94 between 10:00 - 10:30 and again between 12:00 - 12:30 on Sunday 12 November, due to rolling road closures in Penarth town centre for the Remembrance Sunday parade.

The 10:01 service 92 departure from Penarth Cemetery (due at Windsor Terrace at 10:18) will NOT run via Rectory Road or Windsor Terrace, and will divert via Stanwell Road to Windsor Road.  Please use stops at Penarth Station or The Dingle (on Windsor Road) as nearest alternatives.
