January Service Change

We’re making some changes to our service from the 5th of January 2025. Most of these are small changes to the timetable to improve the punctuality of our services, and to help journeys through Cardiff Bus Interchange run even smoother. Additionally, some services have changes to help provide more capacity where student travel has grown since the last year.
- Extra morning buses between the city centre and Llandaff and the city centre and Cyncoed MET for more capacity for students studying at Cardiff MET and St. Davids College.
- Earlier journeys, weekdays, between Cardiff and Newport on route 30.
- Extra weekday 94 bus during the morning between Cardiff and Barry. Weekdays, some 94 AM and PM journeys extended direct to Colcot from Barry for Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg and Whitmore High School.
- Earlier Sunday buses between Cardiff and Barry on route 95.

| 4 | Changes to Timetables | Due to changes to road layouts and increasing traffic levels service 4 is no longer able to make a complete journey in 20 minutes, and so this service will now operate every 30 minutes to ensure a punctual service. This service will now depart from Stand 8 in Cardiff Bus Interchange. |

| 24 & 25 | Changes to Timetables, City Centre Stops & Extra Capacity | The timetable has been amended to better reflect the time each journey needs due to changes in traffic conditions. These services will now depart from Stand 5 (for 24) or Stand 6 (for 25) in Cardiff Bus Interchange. An extra journey will be provided on service 63 in the morning to provide more capacity alongside the 25 between the City Centre, Pontcanna, Cardiff Met Llandaff and The Bishop of Llandaff high. |

| 28 & 29 | Changes to Timetables & City Centre Stops | The timetable has been amended to better reflect the time each journey needs due to changes in traffic conditions. With the exception of last journeys on Friday and Saturday evenings, see below, after Cardiff Bus Interchange the next stop will be Bute Terrace (Stop JK) - no longer using Hayes Bridge Road. The evening frequency on Mondays to Saturdays will be increased to hourly. To allow this to happen on a Friday & Saturday night, these journeys will operate from Cardiff Bus Interchange via Westgate Street (Stop KP), Castle Street and Kingsway (Stop GA) and then Dumfries Place to avoid disruptive taxi parking in the St Mary Street area. |

| 52 | Minor Changes to Timetables & Extra Capacity | The timetable has been amended to provide more capacity between the City Centre, Albany Road, Pen-Y-Lan and St Davids College, Cardiff Met Cyncoed & Corpus Cristi High, as well as extra recovery time between journeys in the morning rush hour. |
| 62 & 63 | Changes to Timetables & Extra Capacity | The timetable has been amended to better reflect the time each journey needs due to changes in traffic conditions, and to better align to school start & finish times. An extra journey will be provided on service 63 in the morning to provide more capacity between the City Centre, Pontcanna, Cardiff Met Llandaff and The Bishop of Llandaff high. |

| 92, 92B, 93 & 94 | Changes to Timetables | We’re making some small changes to the timetable to help keep departures from the Cardiff Bus Interchange running smoothly. Additionally, some 94 services will extend to Colcot Road to provide more capacity between Penarth, Sully, Cadoxton, Barry and Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg and Whitmore High School. |
| 95 | Changes to Timetables | The timetable has been amended to better reflect the time each journey needs due to changes in traffic conditions. The 1410 from Cardiff and 1545 from Barry Morrisons will no longer serve Barry Island. Early buses on Sundays with the first arrival into Cardiff now at 09:22 instead of 10:52. |

| 136 | Changes to Timetables & City Centre Stops | The timetable has been amended to allow extra recovery time between journeys. This service will now depart from Stand 2 in Cardiff Bus Interchange. |
| 305 | Changes to Route & Timetables | The timetable has been amended to better reflect the time each journey needs due to changes in traffic conditions. In Dinas Powys, this service will now travel along Mount Road and Britway Road. You can hail the service at any point along the common. |
