The Welsh Hawking Centre is open from 1st April until 1st Nov, from 10:30am to 5.00pm except Tuesdays.
At the centre you can get very close to over 200 magnificent birds of prey. These can be photographed in the mews and at the flying field - plenty to see and do for all the family.
The most exciting part of a visit to the Welsh Hawking Centre is watching our wonderful daily displays. You can witness the speed of our graceful falcons stooping to the lure and the silent flight of an owl, as well as maybe even getting involved and having one of our birds fly to your gloved hand.
The Hawking Centre is situated in 20 acres of scenic Welsh parkland with ample car parking.
If you're travelling by bus to Cardiff City Centre and then onto St Fagans, a Network Rider ticket is the best option for you - use it on Cardiff Bus routes and most other bus routes in South East Wales.
