The annual Pride Parade will take place on Saturday 24 August. Some of the city centre roads will be closed, from 11:00 to 13:30, while the parade takes place (North Road, Kingsway, Duke Street, Castle Street, Lower St. Mary Street, Mill Lane, Canal Street & Customhouse Street). Butetown Mile road closures - Sunday 25 August
The Butetown Mile and Carnival will be taking place on Sunday 25 August. Certain roads in the Bay area will be closed from 09:00 to 13:00 while the race takes place. During this time buses will divert as follows: Baycar (service 6) will start and end at County Hall. The bus stops at The Flourish and Wales Millennium Centre will not be served. Service 8 will start and end at Mermaid Quay (southbound stop) and bus stops on Bute Street, Hemmingway Road, Scott Harbour, Britannia Quay and Wales Millennium Centre will not be served. Service 91 will run along Dumballs Road between Mermaid Quay and the city centre, in both directions. Bus stops along Lloyd George Avenue and at Wales Millennium Centre will not be served.
