Calling all book worms!

Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival will be back this spring from 21 – 29 April. Celebrated authors and illustrators will once again bring a cast of colourful characters and amazing tales to inspire and entertain book lovers everywhere; from the young to the young at heart!

The award winning festival will once again host over 40 exciting events in English and Welsh at iconic venues across the city centre including Cardiff Castle, City Hall and National Museum Wales.

The festival, aimed predominantly at children aged 3-11, continues to create lifelong readers and runs across two weekends with free school sessions during the week.

Guest authors and illustrators include Petr Horáček, Sibéal Pounder, Tom Percival, Catherine Fisher, Huw Aaron, Tom Palmer, Steven Butler and Jonathan Meres to name a few.

Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival is City of Cardiff Council Events Team working in partnership with Literature Wales, Cardiff University and National Museum Wales.
