From Sunday 4th January 2009 work will commence on improving the highway in St. Mary Street and a new gas main installation. Works will start intially at the southern end from it's junction of Wood Street and Mill Lane.

 

Routes heading towards the city which currently end in St. Mary Street will now end in Westgate Street, at the bus stops opposite the Millennium Stadium. Cross city routes and 11, 12 & 13 will also call here when travelling from pengam Green and Tremorfa.

 

Routes which currently start and end at Central Station continue to do so.

 

All journeys on route 30 will use Central Bus Station (stand E4).

 

Stops at High St and St. Mary St will not be served on these routes.

 

For the time being baycar's route will not change.

 

Routes leaving the city remain unchanged and will continue to call at their normal stops in St. Mary Street.
