Our Fares

We have 2 fare zones, Cardiff (including Penarth) and Barry. The tables below show the current fares for travel within each fare zone and a fare for travelling across our network. Note that slightly higher fares are charged for some journeys on service 30 to Newport and X91 to Llantwit Major. Click here for details

On the bus
The following tickets can be bought on the bus. You’ll need an iff card if you want to purchase a week to go. To apply, click here.
Please have the correct money for your ticket, as our drivers do not give change.

Pre-pay

Speed up your journey and save money by paying before you board the bus.  You can either add weekly, monthly or annual tickets to your iff card at our outlet in Central Library or any PayPoint outlet accross our network.  On buses only weekly tickets can be added.  To find out where your nearest PayPoint outlet is enter your postcode here.
You'll need an iff card or iff app to purchase week & 4 week tickets. To set up a direct debit or purchase a year to go you'll need an iff card.
